Dr. Robert Leeman is scheduled to give a webinar to the Southeastern Coastal Center for Agricultural Health & Safety  titled  Stressors, Resilience Factors and Applicability of New Interventions for Substance Misuse - May 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM. More info. - "Dr. Leeman will speak on his research about substance misuse and highlight applications for rural populations. Leeman studies relationships between various difficulties with self-control and addictive behaviors, particularly alcohol use, though he also has also conducted research on opioid misuse, tobacco use and gambling. This webinar will include information on connections between stress, mood and alcohol use, formative research to develop a tobacco cessation intervention for rural populations, and the potential for technology-based assessment and interventions in rural populations."

Dr. Robert Leeman participated in a panel discussion entitled “Research findings from the 2019 State of the Science meeting.” Community Stakeholder Advisory Board Meeting. Hosted by Southeastern Coastal Center for Agricultural Health & Safety, Gainesville, FL, March 12, 2020.
